NORÐLINGAFLJÓT

Nordlingafljot has its source at the roots of the glacier Langjökull in aria called Efri Fljotadrog. The overall length of the river is 66km. The river runs to the vest north of Saudafjoll and Hallmundarhraun (the longest flowing lava field in Europe) and from there down to the walleye Hvitarsida. Just below the campground Husafell the river joins the big glacier river Hvita.
